Costs vary depending on the type and scope of the services provided. We are committed to transparent pricing and provide detailed information about fees on our Services and Fees page. For services involving more than one person, fees are typically shared equally or may be divided based on income.
Preparation time and travel expenses, where applicable, are additional and will be discussed and agreed upon in advance. Some services are subject to GST, and alternative fee arrangements may be available in certain circumstances.
Fees are payable by e-transfer, cheque, credit card, or cash before or at the beginning of an appointment, unless payment is being made as a disbursement through a lawyer’s office. We encourage clients to contact us to discuss their specific needs and receive a customized quote.

To get started, you can email us at office@katbellamano.com or use our contact page to provide a brief overview of your situation. For a smoother process, it’s helpful to copy the other party(ies) in your email. Because our services are voluntary, we cannot contact anyone without their permission unless there is a court order, so involving all relevant parties from the outset helps ensure better coordination and efficiency.
We also encourage you to watch our informational videos on the Services page. They provide a clear overview of our processes and can help you feel more prepared and confident in choosing the right service for you and/or your family.
-
Next steps will vary depending on the process you are participating in. Your professional will discuss these with you at the outset, ensuring you understand what to expect and how the process will unfold.
-
All of our services can complement ongoing legal proceedings. Depending on your circumstances and the service you are participating in, our processes may help address specific issues, clarify options, and support resolution outside of court in a timely and cost-effective way. Your professional will discuss how this applies to your situation and ensure you understand how the process fits with any legal matters you may have underway.

We understand that affordability can be a concern. In some cases, reduced rates may be available on a limited basis for individuals, families, and nonprofit organizations experiencing financial constraints. Sliding scale arrangements are considered on a case-by-case basis and are approved at the sole discretion of Ambitus Consulting.
Reduced rates are not retroactive, are approved for a fixed number of hours, and may require proof of financial need. If a reduced rate is approved, the adjusted rate will be shared with the other parties involved in the matter. We encourage you to contact us to discuss your situation and explore available options

Mediation is designed to address and resolve specific issues or disputes. It is typically a time-limited, goal-focused process aimed at sorting through immediate conflicts and supporting parties in reaching agreements or decisions.
Coaching, by contrast, is an ongoing process that focuses on building skills and capacity. It supports individuals or families in developing tools such as communication, co-parenting, and problem-solving skills, and in implementing strategies to manage ongoing challenges and strengthen relationships over time.
